Yeast Coast Bakery Review

As an avid food lover, I go to places that I love that use real ingredients — and Yeast Coast Bakehouse in College Park has definitely done you over. I had been hearing about their cinnamon rolls for a long time, so I finally decided to go there… and now I’ve become their loyal customer.

Yeast Coast is owned by the same people who own Cups & Pups, one of my favorite coffee places, so I was really excited about it. Their cinnamon rolls are really the best I’ve ever tried — they’re really gooey and soft, not too sweet, and with just the right amount of frosting on top. You can see that everything is prepared fresh, in small batches, by someone who cares about quality.

What made me totally sold on them is the fact that they don’t use any seed oils at all. Everything is made with only natural ingredients, like the butter, which is sourced from grass-fed cows, and avocado oil, which is very rare to find in a bakery. You can really feel free to eat the food without questioning the label on the menu.

They have some other pastries available sometimes too, like croissant buns and monkey bread, and the menu changes with the seasons. It is a little space, but it is so adorable and has a very retro vibe that you can’t pass by without wanting to go back again and again.

Oh hi there!
It’s nice to meet you.
